Virgin Celery Mary
I N G R E D I E N T S
2 bunches of celery, washed and trimmed
1 ginger root, whole
2 tbsp lemon juice
Lime wedges for garnish
Green olives for garnish
Optional (to taste): sriracha, pickle juice, olive juice, celery salt, hot sauce, ground black pepper
D I R E C T I O N S
Use a juicer to juice the celery and ginger.
Note: If you don’t have a juicer, you can use a high-powered blender (peel the ginger root in this case). Once puréed in the blender, line a strainer with paper towels over an empty bowl. Press the purée into it to separate juice from pulp.Add the lemon juice and optional ingredients to taste. Garnish with green olives and lime wedges.
